(02:57) We start the show on a somber note with some Wichita Sports Breaking News. Owner and General Partner for the Wichita Wind Surge, Lou Schwechheimer died on Wednesday afternoon at the age of 62, due to complications from COVID-19. Mr. Schwechheimer was the driving force that brought Triple A baseball to Wichita and sadly he was unable to watch his new team play even one time in Wichita due to the pandemic. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time.

(08:05) Time to recap the first week of Royals baseball. How do things stack up for KC after a handful of games? Weston and Tommy discuss the early season struggles from Adalberto Mondesi, is Mike Matheny embracing analytics?, starting pitching concerns for the Royals as well as general pitching injuries, plus the guys discuss the new part owner of the Royals, Mr. Patrick Mahomes.

(35:19) The guys break down the latest in the COVID-19 outbreak with the Miami Marlins. What does this mean for Major League Baseball moving forward? Is it a nightmare scenario? The guys will debate what this means for MLB and also for other sports like College Football and the NFL this fall.

(53:39) Tommy and Weston give a quick update on the Big XII for football, including some changes in non conference opponents. As of now the Big XII is sticking to their original plan of 12 games. Will that happen? The guys discuss.

(55:40) There have been several players opting out of the upcoming NFL season, including Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who will be fighting the virus on the front lines and running back Damien Williams. The guys discuss what Williams opting out means for Clyde Edwards Helaire for KC, plus they also discuss a couple of new free agent signings for the Chiefs.

(1:06:00) Our #WichitaWhiparound focuses on two stories. 1) KSHSAA announced that fall sports will be held as scheduled around the state of Kansas, including in Wichita and including football. As of now that means that area football games will go on as scheduled with practices beginning August 17. The guys discuss those implications. Also, (1:11:48) Dexter Dennis announced he will be returning to Wichita State University, providing some much needed stability and veteran presence to the Shockers after an uncertain offseason for Gregg Marshall's crew. The guys discuss the impact that Dennis brings to the team.

(1:15:18) The show wraps up with the #FinallyFunny as 2020 is the Year of Mahomes. The guys discuss how Patrick Mahomes is thriving through the year, including his brand new Ferrari.
