Description

It's another milestone episode of Keeper of the Games - Episode Number 30! It's the Wildly Under-qualified, Yet Mildly Entertaining Podcast about sports in Wichita, Kansas and beyond, hosted by Tommy Castor and Weston Mills.

On this new episode:
(02:12) Kicking the show off with another Royals Recap and the keyword for KC is "Inconsistency". Tommy and Weston break down the good and the bad in the pitching staff, concerns they have with some of the offense, including Jorge Soler and a discussion about the drama between the Royals and the Twins from Sunday's game.
(23:46) Time to check in with the Kansas City Chiefs. The guys discuss the plans for reduced capacity in Arrowhead Stadium, Travis Kelce's new contract and what that means for the culture of the Chiefs, plus two suspensions upcoming for KC on the defensive side of the ball.
(48:34) The #WichitaWhiparound is all about the MIAA cancelling its fall season and the GWAL (Wichita City League) for high school sports will only play a league season, nobody outside of their league. On top of that the Wichita Ice Center is a finalist for a huge award that would give them money for improvements to the facility and even host an NHL game. Plus, a shoutout to former Shocker Fred Van Vleet who is making his presence known in the NBA playoffs.
(57:03) Our #FinallyFunny pokes a little fun at suspended Kansas City Chief Bashaud Breeland for his apology for his suspension. Bashaud did a full fledged music video to apologize.
