Let's do it!! It's the Mildly Entertaining Sports Podcast for Wichita & Beyond - Keeper of the Games - back for a brand new episode of the podcast! Tommy Castor and Weston Mills are back for a new episode and joined by a very special guest to kick off the show!

(01:45): She's a reporter, blogger, talk show host, WSU insider, and more...Aliyah Funschelle from www.sportswithaliyah.com joins Keeper of the Games to talk all things Wichita State basketball. Obviously, the main topic of discussion is the official resignation of Gregg Marshall and his nearly 8 million dollar buyout. On top of that, Aliyah discusses the Shockers new interim head coach Isaac Brown and who we can expect to see hit the court for WSU in about a week when the season kicks off. Aliyah also discusses the disappointing news regarding Campus High School star Sterling Chapman decommitting from WSU in light of the Gregg Marshall situation and committing to AAC rival Tulsa.

(36:44) Tommy and Weston discuss some breaking NBA draft news regarding former Shocker Landry Shamet who was on the move on draft night, plus the news that Wichita will not be a location for March Madness in 2021 due to COVID-19.

(39:39): It's Raider Week for the Chiefs! Weston and Tommy discuss the bulletin board material going into this game, the Victory Lap fiasco and predictions on what things may look like for KC going into this primetime game on Sunday night versus their heated rivals. The guys also discuss the contract extensions given to both Andy Reid and Brett Veach.

(55:46): No KU football this weekend as their game against Texas has been postponed to December 12, due to COVID-19 concerns, but Kansas State will be in action on Saturday with a HUGE game against #17 Iowa State. The guys give their takes on what the Wildcats will need to do to get the win in Farmaggedeon and to move into a tie for the Big 12 lead.

(1:00:38): Our #WichitaWhiparound's starts off with the news that KSHAA is considering delaying the start of the high school winter sports season. Other than that, it is all about Kansas high school playoff football. Weston and Tommy discuss the Wichita metro schools that are moving onto SubState. The biggest game locally is in 5A as Bishop Carroll will face Wichita Northwest.

(1:09:38): Our #FinallyFunny is really not that funny, but it's more impressive as Dr. Laurent Duvernay Tardif from the Kansas City Chiefs has made it to the Hall of Fame, kinda. LDT's scrubs and lab coat have made it to Canton, since he opted out of the season to fight COVID-19 on the front lines. Pretty awesome and well deserved for LDT.
