On our program today, well explore educational institutions and materials. First, Deborah Menkart, Executive Director of Teaching for Change will join us to discuss a new campaign against a couple of kids’ books published by Scholastic about Donald Trump. Menkart will explain why many Americans are up in arms about the books that paint a rosy picture of the most dangerous president in memory. Then, author Ellen Moore will discuss her book called Grateful Nation: Student Veterans and the Rise of the Military Friendly Campus.
