Another month has flown by and we've reached Jessica's favorite and basically only reason to be here. It's Smut Club time! This month, the sacred month of May, brought us Amanda's birthday and thus her special request for a book containing Elves. So here we are, reviewing Claimed by the Elven King, by Christina Rayne. By "claimed" the author actually means "kidnapped and held captive". Another case of Stockholm Syndrome presents itself here folks. But since it's a fictional book and elves are awesome we're pretty convinced we would be okay with it too, as long as it comes with pointy ears. There is a decent quantity of the sex we all read these books for, but the quality of said sexytime is lacking. The author provides a really good amount of detail and imagination; we applaud her for this. However, there are some anti-climactic moments and some holes in the story. But in all reality, we're just here for the dirty parts so whatevvs to everything else. Did you read the book?? Let us know what you thought!
