Time Check: It’s 23 and a half minutes after 4 o’clock and it’s snowing in Boston. Let’s take another call. First time caller, Chet from La Salle, Illinois. Round of applause. Chet reminisces about 3 weeks he spent in Boston 33 years ago (that would be 1945).

Let’s take another call 254-5678 your on WBZ hello? Don from Roanoke, Va. Don asks if Larry wants to hear some music. Don sounds as if he is half asleep. Larry, sensing the conversation is going nowhere changes the conversation. Larry plays Scollay Square by Rik Tinory for Chet, the previous caller and for Don also.

Let’s take another call: Jackie from Chelsea who works at the Woodlawn Manor Nursing Home in Everett, Ma. Larry mentions that Donna’s grandmother lives there and if Jackie knows her. Yes, she does indeed. Jackie is a Nurses Aid and enjoys working with people. She was born in Kentucky. Her late husband was from the Boston area. She is about to become a Grandmother.
She mentions her two brothers who are from Kentucky. Larry jokes if they might have a still there now.

Next caller wants to talk to the Godfather….Theme music, The Godfather greets Cousin Wally. Wally wants to be shot to sleep! The Godfather blows him up to sleep.

Next caller, Gary from Grand Rapids, Mi. He is a first time caller (round of applause). Gary is an entertainer, a keyboard caller. Gary talks about his band, which features The Big Band Sound.
