Larry Glick WBZ July 4, 1978 (Pt1)

We begin with some patriotic music on Larry's 4th of July show celebrating America's Independence. First caller is Susie from Woodbridge, Virginia. Her husband is stationed at Fort Belvoir. Susie was in high school band and played a bass drum. She tells a story of mansions and castles.

Commercials.

Next caller speaks about pool, or billiards as some call it. They speak of some of the great players in the business. Larry and the caller talk about people in the public eye need to be kind to the public who approach them.

Next caller is Nancy from Brookline, Massachusetts. She is a first time caller (round of applause). Nancy talks about the softball game between WBZ and the Arlington police (WBZ lost). Nancy is a Registered Nurse at Children's Hospital. Some substantial station fading as Larry asks Nancy some questions about her career. The signal recovers as Larry and Nancy continue their conversation. As the conversation comes to close Nancy asks Larry to play “The Baloney Song”. Larry obliges.
