Some grandmaster chess players can see 10-15 moves ahead during a chess match. For most, seeing what’s right in front of us is difficult enough.
By the end of his life in Genesis 50, Joseph came to one final conclusion regarding the mistreatment of his brothers, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.”
Joseph knew he didn’t have the final say when others do wrong. God does. While it may be difficult to see beyond what’s in front of us, God is always doing something far more glorious in our midst than we could ever understand or imagine.
