One of the most powerful evangelistic tools at our disposal is our own personal testimony. In so many ways, our testimony is more valuable than a thousand apologetic arguments. People can argue with facts and details, but they cannot argue with your personal experience. In our text this week, David gives us his personal testimony of faith. He shares with us in vivid detail and descriptive poetry who the Lord is to him.
Having walked through the storms and trials of life, he pours out his heart in praise to God. He is not simply declaring doctrinal truths about God. He is testifying to the power of God as He has experienced in his life. I pray you will make plans to join us. No matter where you are or what you are experiencing in your life today, I know this passage will uplift your heart as we consider the greatness of our God and the salvation He has provided in Christ.
