How do you run a small business in 2020? Did you prepare last year for the unknowns in 2020? We did for the first time in our 34 year old business. We had no idea back in November in December how important it was going to be. Regardless of what is going on in the world and the country, what are you doing to meet your business strategy and your quarterly goals? The world is changing but you have to shift your thinking to determine how you can serve the new economy. What can you do that your competitors are not doing?
Spend the time pouring into your staff. Building up the team, encourage them and empower them. You must show trust in your staff and be vulnerable with them. Ask them what you can do to help them be successful.
