Roger and Joey are talking with Steve Heiner today. He is the Senior Technical Manager at Nikon, and has been with the company since 1985. They discuss how Nikon has grown from the film era, into DSLR’s, and most recently, to embracing mirrorless with the Z system which launched 2 years ago. The conversation ranges from collecting rare lenses, to how much the industry has changed over Steve’s 36 years with Nikon, to Roger asking Steve to pinpoint what Nikon does best.
