I think that the new technology today helps us make our projects in an economic way and to be in contact with people in the whole world. This kind of programs allows us to learn more new things and they help us to introduce to us in a more global space.
Particularly there is a part of the article that catches my attention in which it says:" The catch is predicting whether VDS will isolate students from a sense of place and materiality, or if it will provide future architects the tools to reconcile communication environments and physical space ". It is true that tools like these facilitate the work to us, but they could also isolate us from the reality in which we live. Everything must have a balance but it is not possible to deny that the virtual design is a necessary instrument and of much aid.
