Today's Bible Translation

Bible translation used in today's episode: Ch. 9 CEB; Ch. 10 NKJV

Podcast Introduction

It’s Gospels Saturday, and our reading will be Acts 9-10. I’m calling this episode “Peter Gets Another Lesson.“

Design: Scott Snider | Photo: midjourney

Summary

Acts 10 tells the story of Cornelius, a devout Gentile believer, and Peter's realization that God's salvation is for everyone, regardless of their background. Peter had a vision showing him that God does not consider anyone unclean, and he preached the message of salvation to Cornelius and his household. The Holy Spirit fell upon them, and they were baptized. This chapter teaches us to overcome divisions and share the love of Christ with all people.
