Description

Bill Hunter is 100 years old. He's a magician and has been performing magic for 80 years professionally, including 50 years at the Indy 500 race.

He is Emma Lovell's first cousin twice removed (aka her grandmother's cousin) and one of her favourite people in all the world.

Bill served in the Navy during World War II for his home nation of the United States of America. He was sent to the South Pacific and caught Malaria in Papua New Guinea, and was then hospitalised in Sydney, Australia. There in a hospital bed, he met world champion boxer Steve Belloise who was also an amateur magician, and taught him a few tricks. It was there his life long passion, skill and gift began.

Magic has taken him around the world and most importantly, it's led him to meet amazing people who have touched his life as much as he has touched theres. But the real magic is not the tricks ... it's the man himself. Bill Hunter is truly magical and you'll see for yourself in this episode.

Emma interviews her cousin to ask him about how his skills of communication, networking and simply being who he is have led to such a long career and life.

We hope you enjoy this little piece of magic in your day!
