The truth is, by the time an opportunity comes, it’s too late to prepare. If someone were to call you today with a job opportunity, contract, or gig, would you be ready?
If not, you’d lose that opportunity. You have to be prepared or else you’ll have to repair. You’ll have no choice but to say no or scramble to get things in place.
On the other hand, when you prepare, you maintain focus. You get down to the nitty-gritty and become efficient in getting what you want. You have a focused plan that allows you to be passionate and positioned for growth. You can weekly determine if you’re moving the needle toward your goals or not.
