Summary:
Two journalists, Peter Langley and James Vincent, are recuperating from winter colds at the Majestic Hotel in Newcliff-on-Sea one February when they get mixed up in a murder mystery: Peter is on the scene just after Howard Impey, theatrical impresario, is shot in Kenneth Paisleys hotel room, the night before the opening of the latters new play starring the beautiful Anna Worthington.
