Isaiah turns to poetry to help us understand the Lord's love for His Covenant people and lament over their folly.
First, a few pointers about poetry, specifically Hebrew Poetry
1. Short lines
2. Doesn't rhyme, but is concise
3. Parallelism. It might deepen, enhance, or even contrast
