While most of us find the low carb lifestyle to manage weight and keep insulin resistance at bay, there are many many other positives to eating low carb. Chronic pain management is one of them.
Join me as I chat to Dr Rowena Field who has just completed a PhD in low carb/ketogenic diets and chronic pain.
Dr. Rowena Field is a physiotherapist with 30 years' experience in both private practice and as a rehabilitation consultant. Rowena has a professional interest in chronic pain management and is keen to assist clients that historically have had limited options and may have been poorly managed.
Her PhD investigated the use of nutritional therapy for chronic pain, so she now incorporates her role as a nutritionist with her physiotherapy expertise.
