God’s inerrant Word shows that true repentance is never empty talk; it bows before the Lord, seeks forgiveness, and obeys Him regardless of the cost. David would not offer God what cost him nothing because he understood grace, mercy, and restoration. This same Truth points to Christ, the divine Son of God, who gave Himself on Calvary for repentant sinners. Believers must give their time, resources, talents, and intercession with grateful hearts, asking, “Lord, what would You have me do?”
