10 Essential Lessons for Life: Empathy

People sometimes have lives that are created in reaction to the pain they have experienced in their own lives.

How can you look for - and create - the world in which you thrive?

We aren't looking for a band-aid approach or viewpoint on life.  What is the deeper story that may be causing the pain and/or reaction?

We need to have grace and compassion for one another - we are all humans, and we all have those not-so-great moments of parenting, and just being!

We have the choice to step out of our reaction and choose how we are going to move forward.  We don't get it right every time, but that doesn't mean we've failed forever.

"The last thing we need in the midst of our struggle is shame for being human."  -Brené Brown
