Dr. Jillian Zambon was born and raised in Vermont and joined the U.S.Navy Seabees at the age of 18, where she served for 5 years. She attended Norwich University, a private military college in Vermont, and earned both a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics and an M.B.A. in project management from Norwich. In 2019, she completed her Doctor of Education in Healthcare Administration and she currently works as a Director of IT Operations for a large clinical research organization based in Boston.
In January 2021, Dr. Zambon founded Brave Original Designs and 6-months later is focused on getting the business off the ground to provide women with clothes that flow with the movement of their bodies, while being stylish, sustainable, and eco-friendly.
In this episode we discuss her mission behind creating BOD and giving back to veterans, the importance of slow fashion, her disciplined work ethic, being present, giving our children a voice, and how she manages a career, building her business & being a mom!
