Word Made Flesh When we think of Christ’s birth, we often picture a manger, shepherds, angels, and a newborn child wrapped in cloths. John 1 invites us to step back and see it from a much wider, deeper angle. Before there was a stable in Bethlehem, before there was Mary and Joseph, the Word already was.
