In this episode, Nitza Moshe asked Maria Merola to share her personal testimony of how she came to faith in Messiah and how she was called into full time ministry. Maria Merola, is the founder of “Double Portion Inheritance Ministries” since August of 2007.
Born on August 18, 1960 into an Italian Roman Catholic Family, Maria’s parents were both born in Naples Italy, and later came to America after World War II. Although she is a 100% first generation Italian, Maria has had a great love for Yisra’el and the Yahuwdiy (Jewish) people since her conversion to the Messiah, Yahuwshuwa in 1981.
Maria discovered in 2006, (when she decided to trace her genealogy through a professional) that her lineage can be traced to the Levites on both sides of the family. Maria’s mother’s maiden name (Conte) traces back to the Jewish nobleman named “Giacomo Conte” who was imprisoned by the Queen of Spain for his Yahuwdiy (Jewish) faith and he later fled to Italy. The name “Conte” comes from “Cohen” which in Hebrew means “priest” (Kohan).
Maria’s father’s last name,“Merola” traces back to the priestly line of singers in the temple called “the sons of Merari” (Numbers 3:17-4:33). In 1981, Maria was called out of Roman Catholicism into a life of faith in the Messiah, Yahuwshuwa. She was soon after immersed in the Ruwach ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) & fire with the evidence of speaking with new tongues.
This is promised to every believer by Yahuwshuwa himself as “sign” of the Renewed Covenant (Acts 2, Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16). During this time, Maria cried out to the Heavenly Father asking him “Why is Maria Merola here on planet earth? What is my specific calling?” Maria then heard the voice of the shepherd say to her “Maria, I have called you to be a watchman to the House of Yisra’el, and to warn my people about the coming Anti-Messiah and his false religion.”
Since that time, Maria has made it her priority to study biblical end-time prophecy and to research the inner-workings of the Jesuits (Illuminati) who operate as under-cover agents of the Vatican. Maria has been exposing the deceptions of the Papacy and the Vatican’s agenda to infiltrate the true body of Messiah since 1981.
In 1997, Maria was shown Ezekiel 3 where she was told once again that she was being called as a “Watchman to the House of Yisra’el.”
She was also shown Ezekiel 19, where she was shown that she was to be like that “Mother Lioness” (who symbolizes Jerusalem) and she was being called to nourish these “two lion’s whelps” (Ephraim & Judah).
Maria was told by YaHuWaH at that time that she was to feed “both Houses of Yisra’el” with the meat of the word.
By 2002, as Maria was in prayer, the word of YaHuWaH came to her again as she was told that her “new name” (Revelation 3:12) is “Ariel” which means “Lion of El.” She discovered from Isaiah 29 that this is another name for Jerusalem, the city where David dwelt. She also understood that this name is given to all those who “overcome” and they are part of the “New Jerusalem.”
In 2007, during a season of fasting and prayer, Maria once again asked the Heavenly Father “What exactly is the double portion anointing as seen in 2nd Kings 2:29?”
In response, Maria was given a vision of the “Mount of Transfiguration” (Mat- thew 17:3-4). In this vision, Maria saw our Messiah with “Mosheh & Eliyahuw” (Moses & Elijah). Maria immediately understood that Moses represented the “Towrah” (Law), and Elijah represents the prophetic signs and wonders (the gifts of the spirit). At that moment, Maria had an “aha moment” and she said within herself “Oh, so the double portion anointing is that of Moses & Elijah---in other words, Law & Prophets!”
Since August of 2007, Maria was instructed to go into a full time ministry of intercession and teaching. Maria was also given Luke 2:36-38, as she was shown “Channah” (Anna) the prophetess who dedicated her life to prayer and preaching of the coming Messiah. Maria’s website is:
