Debi Hake was drawn to counseling as a profession after working in several non-profit, community and church positions, the education field, and being a foster parent for many years. While she loved most of her time in these positions, she realized that she was limited in the amount of help she could give others and did not have enough skills or education to effectively help those around her make sustainable change or truly heal from life’s hurts.
