Randy Turners "This Week in Mayberry History" report on Barbara Stuart, which we'll lead off with, had me looking back at images of Barbara that I had accumulated over the years. During the search, I found an image from a "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C." season 4 episode called "Change Partners."

In that episode "Miss Bunny" and "Sargent Carter" are seen standing in front of a movie poster staring "Teena Andrews." Who's Teena Andrews and why did I say she's Barney's girl?

In the 7th season episode of TAGS called "Barney Comes to Mayberry", it's a color episode but stick with me, Barney Fife returned to Mayberry and is on the same train as Teena Andrews. Teena, or Irene Flogg, was a Mayberry native returning to town for the premiere of her new Hollywood movie. The story continues but in the end she attends the event with Barney and he thinks she's sweet on him....she wasn't.

Back in April 2010, listener Matthew Morgan was the one that caught the fact that the movie poster featured Teena Andrews. I did some digging and thought it was cool enough to bring back up almost 9 years later.

Bonus: This week's installment of This Week in Mayberry History by Randy Turner featuring Barbara Stuart.
