Mike Collins-Williams is a Registered Professional Planner with extensive experience in the new home building and development industry. He graduated from Ryerson University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning in 2003 with a Bachelor of Urban Planning and a Minor in Public Administration. Mike is a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners and most recently became the CEO of the West End Home Builders Association.
The WE HBA has been the voice of the local construction industry for more than 70 years, working as advocates and resources for over 230 members representing all facets of new home construction.
The residential construction industry in Hamilton-Halton is a major economic driver and is responsible for creating more than 32,000 jobs.
In addition, home builders operating in Hamilton and Halton areas contribute substantially to federal, provincial and municipal tax bases, while pouring money back into the local economy.
