Description

Nothing gets you run out of town faster than an epic collapse, a lackluster offense and a catchy slogan. Last night might have marked the beginning of the end to the interim/full-time/corona season manager as the Mets dropped another 2 games to the Giants, highlighted by Luis pulling Taijuan Walker. There had been murmurs and whispers all season long, but last night the crowd officially turned as "Fire Rojas' and "No Mas Rojas" chants echoed out across Citi Field.

The team has been downright awful all month and despite the Yankees and Rays helping us out lately, the team has made up zero ground in the standings. September's right around the corner and heads gotta roll. We're not saying that Rojas will be let go before the season is up, but there's very little chance that he and Hugh survive the offseason.

Clem and Kyle breakdown the recent failures, weigh the pro and CONS of deGrom being cleared to come back next month and we give updates to the Clem Counter and Cuncel Meter. We haven't dropped the big C yet, but in our minds we've gone to Cuncelina.

We're holding out hope that the Braves blow it and the Mets beatdown the Nats and Marlins, but we believe the end is near.
