The Yankees are officially done in October and KFC and Clem are ready to give the Astros a parade in the Canyon of Champions. After a full decade of coming up short, we declare the New York Yankees the new age Braves-good enough to make the playoffs, but never quite getting over that hump. Gone are the days of the Steinbrenners' check book buying titles and the guys could not be happier. If the Mets aren't gonna win a title, we can at least take comfort knowing the Yankees won't either. We break down the circus that is the Mets' managerial search, discuss the "mystery bombshell candidate" and come to terms with the fact that we probably won't get the guy we want, but we gotta believe nobody is going to be worse than Mickey Callaway.
