On this episode I sat down with Isabella Welch. Born with a cleft lip in its rarest form, Isabella has undergone 23 surgeries in 24 years that have helped to reconstruct her face as we see it today. At the age of 19, she was also diagnosed with Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), a connective tissue disorder - again, in its rarest form.
During this interview we discuss how she embraces her adversity to lead a life of acceptance and find possibility within limitations.
