This week, we continue our series, Quest for a King, in the book of 1 Samuel. In chapter 8, God’s people are unhappy with Samuel and his sons, and they make a request for a king. God uses Samuel to warn them of the consequences that will come with an earthly king, but ultimately grants their request.
