We are programed to be in constant pursuit. Pursuit of education, jobs, marriage, family, houses, money, growth, and the list goes on. And while we can argue that pursuit drives or even provides us with a sense or purpose, or that it fuels ambition, I wonder why we aren't always vocal about another result of the practice. Something that we only think about in the privacy of our own mind. Do you know what question I am referring to? And it is a question, that in fact is sometimes a necessary push into introspection that we brush off too fast because to ask the question is to force ourselves to come face to face with one of the most difficult practices we collectively have yet to master. And that is presence. We may not agree on this one, but I hope you will find something to consider as we look at the ideas of time, pursuit and presence in this weeks episode.
