In this episode, I am joined by 2 friends, 2 former teammates, and LSU baseball legends, I am happy to welcome to the show, Eddy Furniss and Blair Barbier. I wanted to have them on to get their unique take on this year’s LSU baseball team, their perspective as hitters in watching this LSU lineup perform, and also, their opinions on the LSU Freshman that have become mainstays in the lineup this year, since Eddy and Blair both had that same experience during their FR years at LSU.
We discuss the pressure and expectations placed on this team with the #1 national ranking, what do they see so far from this year’s team, how would they approach, and try to hit Paul Skenes. I also ask Eddy about his son Will and his Freshman journey at Ole Miss and Blair’s time around the Tigers, as he has spoken to the 2023 team.
