Exodus 12:29 - 13:22

- God strikes Egypt's firstborn at midnight; Pharaoh finally expels Israel, who leave with great possessions.

- Israel consecrates firstborn males, observes unleavened bread, and is led by pillars of cloud and fire.

Matthew 12:46-50

- Jesus' mother and brothers seek Him while He teaches.

- He declares that whoever does the will of His Father in heaven is His brother, sister, and mother.

Mark 3:31-35

- Jesus' family arrives outside; He responds by pointing to those sitting around Him.

- He identifies His true family as those who do God's will.

Luke 8:19-21

- Jesus' mother and brothers try to reach Him through the crowd.

- He says His mother and brothers are those who hear God's word and do it.
