Often called “The Stonehenge of America” the Georgia Guidestones have been a mysterious attraction for nearly 40 years, beginning with their mysterious start and continuing through their violent end. The monument's creators believed that there was going to be some sort of disaster and they wanted the monument to serve as a guide for humanity in the world which would exist after it. The Guidestones have been a source of conspiracy since the time of their erection and would eventually come under the scrutiny of Georgia politicians.
