We were lucky enough to get an exclusive interview with Molly J before her sold out show in Manchester.
Molly J is an R&B singer based in London, having moved from France after she finished school. Having originally trained as a classical musician, Molly J has had a fascinating journey in her music career. From this, she was able to discuss her opinion on the R&B scene within the UK, what the industry could be doing to work against ageism, and her sole purpose behind making music.
Saoirse Marie also attended Molly J’s headline show at Stage & Radio in Manchester, with support acts from some of the best talent in Manchester right now: Bennett Is Coming, Mya Lashantai, Hazel Mak and Kingxton. Saoirse Marie gives us a brief review on the event!
