Having grown up in Doncaster, Rumbi Tauro moved to Manchester in 2020 to pursue her music career. Since releasing her 1st EP, ‘The Process’, Rumbi has had an incredible trajectory, having been featured on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 4, playing at a multitude of iconic Manchester grassroots venues, and doing the festival circuit over summer including Manchester International Festival and The Great Escape.
For this episode, Saoirse Marie catches up with Rumbi Tauro to discuss her journey of self-discovery through music, her reason for moving to Manchester and what we can expect from her headline show at Band On The Wall on 4th December (2025) ✨
