Hello Time Travelers,
Welcome to The Red Bridge, a Kids on Bikes campaign where characters play custom tropes and scenarios in both the 'real-world' of Shady Creek Missouri but there's something strange going on in Shady Creek. Our teenagers are just trying to live normal lives but there is nightmare that continues to haunt them, and we aren't just talking about High School. A game that isn't a game: The Red Bridge. This campaign allows players to traverse their real teenage problems in 1990's Midwest America and find themselves in even more trouble in a magical world of imagination held within the confines of a board game.
Last we met, Shady Creek’s famous Crabapple Harvest Festival’s first day went off with a bang. The entire town came out to partake in the festivities including the athletic Sly Fox Willow Khon, the wild child Scoundrel Jimmy Breach, the charismatic Secret Supplier Caleb Mattentok, and the courageous Domino, Juke Baldwin. The Festival began as a fun summer day with friends and quickly descended into a fight for their lives with every townsperson turning rabid after ingesting a new variety of crabapple that premiered at the festival.
Surviving the day with the help of the mysterious Vidalia Shady, the descendent of the town's founder, and Mr. Willock, the owner of a shop in the mall. Our teenagers were able to walk out of this encounter with their lives, but not without each one of them receiving a scar that will haunt them forever.
