The Alchemy of Remembrance has its first guest on to share her unique story of living a spiritual life of service. Lauren Amy Hofmeyr, also known as Gogo Maria Magdelene is a Sangoma (African traditional healer), a vocal alchemist, Cacao Kuchina, and a mother.
This story paints a picture of what traditional African shaman/healers do. We explain what it means to walk the path of 'remembrance'. Ultimately, we all want to live a happier and more fulfilling lifestyle. The key to living that way is finding out our true self. Gogo Maria practices the art of walking the path of knowing true self. This path is a choice of living with unconditional love, to live a life of service and deep devotion. The Alchemy of Remembrance is a podcast dedicated to bringing the message of truth in many forms. We look at the physical and the spiritual to bridge the gap between these two worlds. We are spiritual beings experiencing life as a human being, but most of us only identify with the human (physical) side of things.
My name is Matthew Bloemetje. We were designed to be extraordinary and I am just a regular human being on the path of becoming an extraordinary being. I am a graduated, yet ever learning Sangoma and Cacao Kuchina. My ancestral name is Gabriel, from the Archangel Gabriel, whom I am honoured to be working with. As a facilitator, I have been blessed to unlock the ancient knowledge about nutrition and body-work healing. I have a complex understanding about the inner and outer workings of the body and brain and how to best optimize their functioning.
