Pint of Cthulhu returns for Season 5 with a custom Bloodborne-inspired TTRPG — and it begins explosively. Hunters awaken in a dim, mouldy clinic in central Yharnam deep in the grip of the Beast Plague.
There’s blood in the air, supplies gone missing, and a city burning beyond the windows. This inaugural episode (S5E1: Clinic of Ashes) introduces the Party: Mr. Hank (the scholar), Granny Gertrude (a retired hunter), Sir Vince Hamlock (a vileblood), Dominicus (the cleric), and Brittany Johnson (the lamb).
The party explores the clinic, passing perception checks to find a molotov, loose bullets, and a barricaded exit. When the team lures a nine-foot wolf-like monstrosity with human hands down a stairwell, chaos erupts.
Fire, gruesome combat, heavy hammer strikes, and mercy killing ensues. The encounter reveals disturbing clues: corpses showing partial transformations and signs of cannibalism, hinting at deeper horrors within Yharnam.
