Welcome to this series which invites us into learning a broader meaning for the Ten Commandments based on what we read throughout scripture. The meanings come from Martin Luther's Small Catechism. Each video also offers an opportunity to use the Ten Commandments in prayer and as a way of confessing where we've messed up and need forgiveness. A new video and podcast will be released each week. What is this? We are to fear and love God, so that we neither endanger nor harm the lives of our neighbors, but instead help and support them in all of life’s needs. Praying the Fifth Commandment Gracious God, you want all people to be cared for, protected and to have what they need. Please forgive us for any way we have harmed the people around us.
