In 1947, Elizabeth “Beth” Short was a 22-year-old waitress working on Hollywood Boulevard. Dreaming of the glitz and glam a life in Hollywood could bring, Beth had moved out there on her own. After she was missing for days, her body was found severely mutilated with evidence of torture present. To this day, no one has been prosecuted in her murder.
