In today's episode we are speaking with Kim Bettie, Kimberley Kennedy and Tracey Gibbons, members of the Ingomu’s Diversity Task Force about the next #bemoredays virtual conference hosted tomorrow, August 26th on the topic of Owning Your Awkward.
At the end of our show, we honor teacher, director, counselor, mentor, volunteer, and activist, Nadine Bridges, MSW. Besides being the Executive Director of One Colorado, one of the state’s leading advocacy organizations advancing equality for LGBTQ+ Coloradans and their families. Nadine currently teaches part-time at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work, and in her spare time, she mentors former students and colleagues, and serves on several racial equity committees. As if all that weren’t enough, Nadine is a Board member for The Alexander Foundation, an organization providing financial assistance and scholarships to LGBTQ+ Coloradans.
