Episode 6. We are in a funky time right now in the Boudoir industry. Many thoughts and emotions flying everywhere. After hearing all stories of what happened at the Boudoir Class in Hawaii and reading all the testimonies, I was profoundly moved, specifically by Andrea's apologetic video that she posted. I will NEVER make a determination of someone until I can say that I have given them a fair chance to show me who they are and after reaching out to Andrea, she humbly accepted my request to interview her. I always try to go based off of my own opinions and not the opinions of others. In her video, Andrea took 100% accountability for her faults and also touched on some of her own personal reasons why she believed she may have not been as present. I understood her more! I felt she was in no way shape or form making her trauma an excuse, but rather giving people a deep look into who she is as a person, I felt intrigued by her. We are all some type of fu$%ed up that many times we forget to give grace to others. Andrea was so very transparent with me and truly an open book when sharing her life trauma and experiences. I wanted to dive into who Andrea Mendoza was even more and why she moves the way she does. Wow, did she take me on a ride! We chatted for a little over 2 hours on this podcast. It was very deep and heartfelt for me for sure. I believe if we can give people a little more grace and try to understand them a little more, we can grow and move towards a better outcome in future endeavors. It's always important to remember that we are all human beings at the end of the day and do the best that we can. You can find Andrea at : andiboudoir.com
