We learn more about Alex Matheson (she/her) and her journey to her role as Deputy Director - Education at LGBT Foundation, a charity that works to improve health and well-being for the LGBTQ+ community.

Alex speaks about:

• Actively pursuing a role at the Foundation.
• Using her lived experience and passion to drive her career forward.
• Giving voice to those who feel unheard or don’t feel safe to speak up.
• Leading and driving change on a wider scale.
• Enabling and empowering underrepresented leaders; especially when they are ‘the first’.
• Building out the NHS Rainbow Badge Scheme to provide QA assessments and action support for organisations.
