This weekend Hamas led a surprise attack against Israel killing many civilians and injuring over a thousand more. Israel has since responded with force, willing to do whatever is necessary to defend itself. It’s another war marked by death and destruction and another reminder that we are not home yet. Until the Prince of Peace comes, there will never be world peace. The cry of the church now as it has been since it’s beginning is, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Come Lord and do away with the abortion holocaust. Come Lord do away with human trafficking. Come Lord put an end to the wars and violence. The second coming is a doctrine that should bring comfort, encouragement, and joy to God’s people. But in the meantime, until He comes, may souls be saved and come to know Him before it’s too late.
