1 Corinthians 3:18 states, “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become foolish that he may become wise.” The path to true biblical wisdom starts with being willing to be a fool for Christ. The Corinthians were wise in their own eyes and the Apostle Paul warns them of the consequences of spiritual deception. The Lord catches the wise in their craftiness and knows the reasonings of the wise, that their ways are useless. The right kind of fool is the one willing to humble themself before Christ, being a fool in the world’s eyes but honored, commended, and wise in the Kingdom of God.
