Description

When Israel went out to battle with the Amalekites, Moses went up on a hill and lifted up his hands. When his hands were held high Israel prevailed, but when Moses let his hands down Amalek prevailed. Moses’ hands became heavy, but thankfully Aaron and Hur supported him, one on one side and one on the other. In the end Israel was victorious. We all need an Aaron and Hur in our lives. As Paul wraps up his letter to the Colossian church, we find the support and encouragement behind the man we know and love. Men who were beside him through thick and thin. These men were gifts of encouragement to the Apostle, and were the one’s who helped inspire the theological masterpiece we know as Colossians.
