The Apostle Paul closes out 1 Corinthians Ch.5 with guidelines of Christian relationships inside and outside of the church. At face value, it seems pretty simple but when we dig a little deeper and begin to apply it to our lives we realize the struggle of being in the world but not of the world; of becoming all things to all men yet perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord; of wanting everyone to be a part of the church yet removing the unrepentant from among us. Paul lays the foundation for walking the Biblical tightrope—the tension every believer feels as they live to please the Lord and be a witness to the dying world. May God give grace and wisdom to His Church.
