In this episode Gwern speaks his mind. He talks about how to be ambitious for Wales - the actions we can all take to improve our communities and our country. How not to be afraid of breaking from the status quo of thought. How we build Wales' future. This is why he, and others came together to set up New Wales. Palpable throughout his conversation, is Gwern's passion for building a lively and successful Cymru. A Wales which escapes its history. He says, 'Wales put itself in the box, it is for us to get ourselves out'.

Gwern Gwynfil, was born and raised in the small market town of Tregaron, Gwern says that he is very proud to have an entry in the Welsh Wici! He loves Cymru, family (he has five children), swimming, writing, and speaking his mind without fear or favour.

Gwern says, ‘We have the history, the resources, the skills, and the passion to build an amazing Cymru - but we must harness it with vigour and intent.’
