Jan Griffiths, as the president and founder of Gravitas Detroit, is dedicated to shaping the future of leadership in the automotive industry. A proud Welsh native, she built her career in the United States of America, rising to chief procurement officer of a $3 billion Tier-1 supplier, and earning a spot in the Automotive News’ 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry.
Driven by her passion for change and authentic leadership, Jan launched The Automotive Leaders Podcast in 2020, where she engages with top industry minds to inspire the next generation of leaders. This led to her publishing the book, AutoCulture 2.0, in which Jan addresses the urgent need for cultural transformation within the automotive industry.
Jan is also the creator of The Accountability Lab, which provides a supportive community for its members to achieve their fitness goals. And, she is the leader of the Global Welsh USA hub, bringing together the Welsh diaspora from across the USA.
